Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced a Unit Support Coordinator for our Infusion Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Unit Support Coordinator, you will:- Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, and by performing clerical and other support services as directed
- Responsible for processing physician orders, communication, and other general duties.
- High school diploma / GED
- At least 6 months experience working in a hospital or doctor’s office.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Proficient in PC, Internet and email required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred.
