Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team for early morning specimen collection. This role requires professionalism, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to efficiently collect and transport blood specimens from patients at various locations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Patient Verification: Ensure accuracy by verifying test requisitions against nursing station logs and addressing discrepancies with facility personnel.
  • Specimen Collection: Perform venipunctures with precision and care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Safe Transportation: Ensure safe transport of self and specimens while accurately tracking mileage per management guidelines.
  • Specimen Integrity: Follow aseptic techniques, department protocols, and isolation procedures to maintain sample quality.
  • Documentation & Tracking: Record collection details, including initials, date, and time of collection, to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following all legal and industry regulations.
  • Data Entry: Utilize laboratory information systems to enter sample acquisition details.
  • Professionalism & Community Service: Uphold professional standards, policies, and procedures to ensure high‑quality patient care.
  • Enhancing Laboratory Reputation: Take initiative in maintaining the highest standards in phlebotomy services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in infection control and aseptic techniques.
  • Excellent bedside manner and patient interaction skills.
