Affiliated Santé Group, a CARF-accredited nonprofit behavioral health organization, is seeking licensed and license-eligible clinicians to join our outpatient team on a fee-for-service basis. You’ll provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to clients across our community-based programs, with the flexibility to build a caseload that fits your schedule, up to 40 hours of direct session time per week.
What You’ll Do:- Assist in performing a danger assessment, a crisis assessment, an environmental assessment upon entry to the community situation and lethality assessment.
- Assist in performing an on-scene assessment and treatment plan.
- Effectively perform crisis intervention including de-escalation, crisis planning and implementation.
- Design appropriate referral recommendations using available community resources.
- Address population of child, adolescent, adult, dual-diagnosis, co-occurring and elderly.
- Work with families and involved people to de-escalate the situation, make a crisis plan, and enlist cooperation with recommended treatment.
- Document interactions using CRS procedures.
- Must be able to work with first responders and be aware of first responder culture.
- Must familiarize oneself with police codes and language.
- Participate in and complete all required training courses.
- Provide education in the community about the agency and all components of CRS when needed.
- Check work e-mail at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Provide mentoring to interns and new staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
- LCSW-C – Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical
- LCPC – Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
- LMSW – Licensed Master Social Worker
- LGPC – Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor
(LMSW and LGPC clinicians will receive free clinical supervision toward advanced licensure.)
What We’re Looking For:- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field
- Active Maryland license in one of the categories above
- Commitment to person-centered, recovery-oriented care
- Strong documentation practices and comfort with electronic health records
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a clinical team
Compensation
Set percentage per completed session
Fee-for-service structure with capacity for up to 40 hours of session time per week
Flexible scheduling within our hours of operation, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, that lets you control your own caseload
