Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, in-office

Job Description:We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented HR Generalist to support daily HR operations. This role requires someone who can manage HR administrative tasks independently while maintaining a strong focus on compliance and employee support. You will work closely with the HR team and payroll lead, ensuring processes run smoothly and employee questions are addressed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day HR operations with an emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and employee support
- Manage onboarding and offboarding, including coordinating new hire orientations
- Initiate and track background checks for new employees
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions and assist with employee relations matters
- Support recruitment efforts from requisition through hire, including maintaining candidate records
- Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS (iSolved preferred) and generate reports as needed
- Assist with benefits administration and support open enrollment processes
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Keep HR files, records, and documentation organized and up to date
- 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist or similar support role
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in HR or related field preferred
- Experience with employee relations, HR compliance, and HRIS systems (iSolved preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel reporting and Power Point
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently without constant oversight
- Location:
5 days in-office, Silver Spring, MD - Free parking and convenient public transit access
