Training And Development Intern
The Montgomery County Planning Department Human Resources Team is seeking a highly motivated undergraduate or graduate Training And Development Intern with an interest in pursuing a career in one or more of the following fields:
Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, Industrial Psychology, Psychology. This internship provides hands-on experience in learning and development, employee engagement, leadership development, training administration, and organizational development. The selected intern will work directly with the Human Resources team on high-impact projects that support employee growth, engagement, and workplace culture. Montgomery Planning is part of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC).
For nearly 100 years, M-NCPPC has had a national reputation for excellence in planning and today serves a culturally diverse population of over one million people on the border of Washington, D.C. in Montgomery County.
This internship does not provide benefits. Relocation and housing are not provided. A complete background investigation will be completed prior to hiring. The projected pay for this position is from $20.50 per hour to $23.50 per hour depending on level and qualifications. The intern is expected to work up to 20 hours per week during the school year. We are conveniently located in downtown Wheaton, MD, and easily accessible to Wheaton Metro Station (red line) and several bus lines.
