Med Star Health is seeking a highly organized, service-oriented professional to coordinate the full provider onboarding experience. From the moment a provider signs a contract through their transition into employment, you will serve as a trusted point of contact—ensuring every requirement is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR or recruiting professional who enjoys building relationships, managing detailed processes, and creating a welcoming experience for new providers.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities- Manage the full pre-employment onboarding process for newly hired physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and other Med Star providers.
- Partner closely with providers, recruiters, medical directors, hiring managers, Occupational Health, vendors, and internal departments to coordinate onboarding and credentialing requirements.
- Send, collect, review, and track employment applications, background checks, immigration documents, health screenings, required training, and other pre-employment documentation.
- Prepare orientation and new-hire paperwork, enter information into the HRIS, and create and maintain accurate electronic employment files.
- Monitor multiple onboarding cases and deadlines, proactively resolve missing information or potential delays, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- One to two years of recent experience in high-volume recruiting, onboarding, or a similar Human Resources role.
- Strong organizational, critical-thinking, problem-solving, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accountability, follow-through, and customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively with providers and organizational leaders.
- Knowledge of HR and payroll processes, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and familiarity with physician-recruiting regulations; HRIS or payroll-system experience is preferred.
This position has a hiring range of
USD $28.76 - USD $48.96 /Hr.
