Retirement Specialist

CSP has partnered with a thriving nonprofit organization in search of a Retirement Specialist to lead the administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of its retirement programs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a retirement benefits professional who thrives at the intersection of plan administration, employee engagement, compliance, and strategy. You'll serve as the organization's retirement subject matter expert, partnering with HR leadership, payroll, and external vendors to ensure retirement plans are well-managed, compliant, and impactful for employees.

• Own the day-to-day administration of the 401(k) and frozen pension plan
• Lead Form 5500 filings, audits, compliance reporting, and regulatory requirements
• Partner with payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate eligibility, enrollment, and contributions
• Build and deliver retirement education, financial wellness initiatives, and new hire presentations
• Manage relationships with retirement vendors, recordkeepers, brokers, and advisors
• Support retirement plan governance, committee meetings, and strategic initiatives
• Administer a Student Debt Program and monitor plan performance and compliance

• 3+ years of retirement plan administration experience
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS regulations, and retirement plan compliance
• Experience with Form 5500 filings, audits, and vendor management
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Associate's degree required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred
• CEBS and/or CPSP certification preferred (or willingness to obtain CPSP within one year)
