Software Support Specialist II

Overview

The Software Support Specialist II will support activities related to the Central Management System (CMS) and other software, including Track Logs, hosted in the Web Operations Center (WOC).

* This position is contingent upon contract award*

• Track status and due dates for software licenses and maintenance contract renewals and notify the government at least 120 days in advance of software license expiration.
• Track connection fees and due dates.
• Track administrative and other fees and payment due dates associated with operating the CMS and other software in the WOC, including WOC costs and user responsibilities.
• Software development, maintenance, and sustainment.
• Code unit testing, integration and promotion to operations.
• Programming, scripting, code management/repository (JIRA)

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in IT Security.
• Familiarity with cloud operations

Salary at GST is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $104,000 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range or this position and is just one component of the GST total compensation package for employees.
