HAM Operation Analyst

We are seeking a skilled HAM Operation Analyst with hands‑on experience in Service Now Hardware Asset Management (HAM) tools and workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of asset lifecycle management processes, including procurement, allocation, tracking, and disposal. This role is critical to ensuring accurate asset tracking, compliance, and operational efficiency across the organization.

• Operate and manage Service Now HAM and HAM Pro workflows for hardware asset tracking and lifecycle management.
• Support end‑to‑end asset lifecycle processes: procurement, allocation, inventory tracking, EOL, and disposal.
• Maintain high data accuracy and integrity within the HAM module and related CMDB records.
• Collaborate with procurement, IT operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth asset transitions.
• Monitor and report on asset utilization, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset records and HAM/SAM workflows.
• Assist in optimizing HAM processes and identifying automation opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with IT asset governance and audit requirements.

• 1–5 years of overall IT experience with 1–2 years on the Service Now platform.
• Basic to good understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles and asset lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with HAM, SAM, and CMDB concepts
  ; HAM/SAM Pro is a plus.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and asset governance frameworks.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate, audit‑ready asset records

• Good analytical, documentation, and cross‑functional communication skills
  .
• Able to work in a hybrid onsite model (3 days/week in Bethesda, MD).
