DevOps Engineer - HPC Automation & Infrastructure as Code

Location:

• 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 2 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree.

• The Dev Ops Engineer shall be responsible for developing and maintaining complex and diverse Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• The position focuses on automation and efficiency to reduce manual effort and increase the reliability of software builds and deployments.

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Proficient using Bash/Python to develop scripts to automate provisioning of HPC systems.
• Experience with release management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages.
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Travis CI, or Circle
  
  CI.
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible.
• Experience with Dev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS tool chains.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Containerd.
• Experience with Git Source Control System.

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management and collaboration.

Salary: $205,000 - $215,000 annually.
