Salary $110,000 - $135,000 per year
Job Details / Responsibilities- Lead business development and sales efforts targeting new clients primarily in the DoD and government sectors focused on weather intelligence
- Identify, prospect, and generate leads to expand the company's presence in the US defense and public sector markets
- Build and nurture partnerships using a consultative selling approach for SaaS/DaaS weather data solutions
- Engage with diverse stakeholders including business leaders, software engineers, data scientists, and technical teams
- Drive revenue growth through proactive outreach, opportunity qualification, and closing deals in a partnership-oriented model
- Stay current on industry trends, weather technologies, and client needs to effectively communicate value propositions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor solutions and support engagements with government and defense organizations
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, with a track record in B2B sales to public/government organizations in a partnership model
- Mandatory background and experience in the weather industry / meteorology sector
- Demonstrated success in assertive, proactive lead generation and new business development
- Familiarity with consultative selling of SaaS or DaaS solutions (systems/data as a service, not hardware-focused)
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for client engagements
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively across technical and executive levels
