Salary $110,000 - $135,000 per year

Job Details / Responsibilities
  • Lead business development and sales efforts targeting new clients primarily in the DoD and government sectors focused on weather intelligence
  • Identify, prospect, and generate leads to expand the company's presence in the US defense and public sector markets
  • Build and nurture partnerships using a consultative selling approach for SaaS/DaaS weather data solutions
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders including business leaders, software engineers, data scientists, and technical teams
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive outreach, opportunity qualification, and closing deals in a partnership-oriented model
  • Stay current on industry trends, weather technologies, and client needs to effectively communicate value propositions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor solutions and support engagements with government and defense organizations
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, with a track record in B2B sales to public/government organizations in a partnership model
  • Mandatory background and experience in the weather industry / meteorology sector
  • Demonstrated success in assertive, proactive lead generation and new business development
  • Familiarity with consultative selling of SaaS or DaaS solutions (systems/data as a service, not hardware-focused)
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed for client engagements
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively across technical and executive levels
