Senior Service Now Developer

Location: Woodlawn, MD – 100% On-site

Hourly Rate: $80/hr benefits available.

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.

Service One has a long‑term contract opening for a Senior Service Now Developer to support a federal end‑customer based in Woodlawn, MD. The position is 100% on‑site and seeks candidates who are local to the Baltimore area.

Provide support as a Team Lead and as a Service Now Senior Developer.

• Analyze the customer requirements and develop a solution architecture that addresses the technical, management, maximizes automation, and provides operational reporting aspects of the proposal.
• Lead the development of solution artifacts, such as road maps, optimization of operations, architecture, and/or block diagrams with a view outside of User Story requirements.
• Provide support in building prototypes and lead technical reviews and discussions of defined requirements.

Education and Years of

Experience:

Bachelor’s and 7 years of experience, Master’s and 5 years of experience, or 11+ years of experience without a degree.

• 8+ years of experience as a Service Now developer.
• Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly.
• Experience with the U.S. Federal Government.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust contract requirement.

• 8+ years of experience with developing Service Now solutions across various platform applications (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, Sec Ops, GRC, HR).
• 5+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews.
• Experience across numerous parts of the Service Now platform and with commonly integrated third‑party technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in developing system architecture, design principles, and impacts.
• 5+ years of experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM, etc.).
• 5+ years of industry experience (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail).
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions.
