Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Infrastructure Technical Program Lead to join a Government Consulting company located in Annapolis Junction, MD through 100% onsite work. The Infrastructure Technical Program Lead will oversee a large-scale infrastructure support team for TSA’s Secure Flight program, ensuring operational continuity, technical leadership, and compliance with federal standards in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment.
Responsibilities:
· Lead a multidisciplinary infrastructure team (network, RHEL, Dev Ops, data, Windows, MQ, Telephony) supporting TSA’s Secure Flight operations
· Serve as the senior technical liaison to government stakeholders, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and compliance requirements
· Oversee infrastructure performance, system upgrades, and modernization efforts across hybrid environments
· Coordinate and support large-scale migration efforts and technology transitions
· Participate in digital mock-up reviews and enforce ITIL v4 best practices
· Provide on-call leadership during outages, ensuring timely resolution and communication with federal clients
· Support documentation efforts including system architecture, migration plans, and operational procedures
Required Qualifications:
· 12+ years of hands-on technical experience in IT infrastructure or related fields (network, RHEL, Dev Ops, data, Windows, MQ, Telephony)
· 4+ years of experience leading technical teams across multiple disciplines
· Strong knowledge of RHEL, IBM technologies, networking, databases, and hybrid infrastructure environments
· ITIL v4 certification required
· Experience with infrastructure migrations, system upgrades, and federal IT operations
· Ability to hold an active Secret clearance and be eligible for TSA suitability
· U.S. citizenship required (no dual citizenship)
· Must be available for rotational on-call support and daily onsite work in Annapolis Junction, MD
Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent experience working with DHS agencies such as TSA, CBP, ICE, or CISA.

• Familiarity with federal IT security standards and best practices.

• Strong background in cloud computing, automation, and emerging technologies.

• Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or AWS Solutions Architect

Compensation:
· Salary Range: $160,000 – $180,000 depending on experience
· Comprehensive Benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Unlimited PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Paid Holidays

100% onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD (no remote flexibility)
