Dev Ops Engineer

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph (must be within 7 years)
Telework: Up to 16 hours per week (task‑dependent)

We’re looking for a Dev Ops Engineer who enjoys working across system administration, integration, and modern cloud‑native technologies. In this role, you’ll support a variety of survey, collection, and geo‑location systems—ranging from prototypes to fully operational environments. You’ll help ensure these systems are installed, maintained, upgraded, and configured to meet mission needs with reliability and precision.

• Administering, maintaining, and upgrading complex systems across development, test, lab, and operational environments
• Installing, integrating, and configuring software and hardware components
• Supporting survey, collection, and geo‑location systems
• Ensuring smooth operation of prototypes and production systems
• Collaborating with engineering teams to troubleshoot, test, and validate system performance
• Applying Dev Sec Ops  practices to streamline deployments and improve system reliability

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Four years of experience may be substituted for a degree
  • A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience
• 8+ years of experience with:
  • Software and system deployments
  • Linux system administration
  • Containerization
  • Cloud deployments
  • Dev Sec Ops  practices
• Recent (within the last 3 years) hands‑on experience with:
  • Kubernetes
  • Containerization and cluster orchestration
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across diverse system environments
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission‑focused setting
