Cognizance Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to support an enterprise‑wide FDA digital transformation and modernization initiative. The selected candidate will serve as a technical lead responsible for enterprise architecture strategy, business architecture guidance, systems processing oversight, business process modernization, systems integration, compliance framework development, and AI/GenAI adoption guidance within a highly regulated federal environment.

CONTINGENT HIRE (upon receiving the award)

• Lead enterprise architecture strategy and modernization initiatives supporting FDA digital transformation programs.
• Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance to support enterprise modernization and operational improvement initiatives.
• Analyze existing enterprise systems, applications, workflows, and business processes to identify modernization opportunities and operational efficiencies.
• Develop enterprise architecture roadmaps, governance models, standards, and technology strategies aligned with organizational goals and federal requirements.
• Provide business process reengineering guidance to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and system interoperability.
• Support cloud modernization initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Design and guide scalable microservices‑based enterprise architectures and enterprise integration approaches.
• Create and implement compliance methodologies, governance procedures, operational controls, and architectural standards to ensure adherence with FDA and federal regulations.
• Develop methods, frameworks, and technical processes to support compliance, governance, risk management, and enterprise operational consistency.
• Provide strategic guidance on AI/GenAI adoption, governance, and implementation within regulated environments.
• Conduct end‑user and technical staff training programs, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions to improve employee knowledge, operational readiness, technical skills, and technology adoption.
• Collaborate with program managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and federal leadership to align enterprise architecture initiatives with mission objectives.
• Support architecture review boards, governance activities, technical evaluations, and enterprise modernization planning sessions.
