DCCA is a veteran‑owned IT business focused on delivering high‑performance computing solutions for government and commercial clients. We are looking for a Systems Engineer 3 – HPC.
Responsibilities- Support HPC team efforts to develop and maintain architectural direction and methods of HPC systems covering compute, memory, interconnect, network, and storage architectures.
- Devise test and configuration management strategies tailored for each system.
- Contribute to and deliver systems engineering documentation at program and system level (FRD/SRD, Security CONOPs, etc.).
- Propose and evolve HPC architecture concepts and features, ensuring consistency with strategic plans and commercial vendor roadmaps.
- Analyze and compare alternative architectures and justify choices based on mission applications and proxies.
- Create documentation describing architectural features and diagrams illustrating structure and function.
- Specify, recommend, or analyze aspects of HPC systems including processor/accelerator technology, interconnect and network performance, fabric topology, memory capacity and bandwidth, storage hierarchy, and HPC‑facing network structure.
- Consider manufacturability, reliability, availability, serviceability, and sustainability.
- Establish and expand mission‑application performance of each architecture concept, supported by abstract modeling where appropriate.
- Minimum security clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience in high‑performance computing architecture.
- Ability to use JIRA and Confluence.
- Certifications:
CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Network+ (preferred). Knowledge of CAMEO is a plus.
- Competitive salary in Maryland: $120,000–$200,000 (final amount based on experience and qualifications).
