Job Description

Leads the architecture and development of public and private cloud solutions, including the impact on enterprise data architecture and delivery of cloud data strategies that align with business objectives. Implements migration of platforms to the cloud and ensures reliability and security requirements are met.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science).

    Work Experience:

    10 years of related experience or equivalent accomplishments reflected in scope and skill at this level.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing security, Dev Ops, CI/CD data pipeline tools such as Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Virtual Private Network (VPN).
  • Knowledge of software design patterns and enterprise application architectural styles (Microservice, Broker, Serverless, etc.).
  • Knowledge of hosting services with high security and database technologies with distributed cache management.
  • Seeking to acquire knowledge in specialized areas.
  • Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated analytical and project management skills.
  • High accuracy even under pressure.

Functional Accountabilities
  • Lead Cloud Data Architects in deployment of overall cloud data architecture, focusing on organizational structure, identity and access management, networking, security, and ingestion.
  • Develop standards, frameworks, patterns, and processes to benefit stakeholders.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders, industry experts, and technical peers to understand technology and business requirements, industry trends, and the broader data architecture landscape.
  • Develop and communicate the technical data architecture direction and roadmap for cloud data capabilities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the current cloud data platform and proactively lead analysis of the technology environment to detect deficiencies, gaps, and opportunities; lead teams to prioritize, initiate, and implement technology efforts addressing these opportunities.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into a data architectural blueprint that achieves business objectives.
  • Provide guidance on cloud automation and CI/CD capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance of solutions to architectural standards.
  • Collaborate with security architecture and information security to ensure integrity of solutions and meet enterprise standards and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
