Desired Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have relevant experience and proven abilities in:
- Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments to ensure system reliability, security, and optimal performance
- Perform system patch management, software installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities while troubleshooting and resolving deployment‑related issues
- Manage Active Directory environments, including user accounts, group policies, permissions, and access controls
- Implement and maintain operating system security configurations in accordance with federal cybersecurity standards, including DISA STIG and USGCB requirements
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot local networking components and protocols to ensure secure and reliable connectivity
- Provide Tier I/II end‑user support by diagnosing technical issues, resolving incidents, and delivering responsive customer service
- Utilize enterprise ticketing systems to document, track, and resolve service requests while maintaining accurate records and timely communication with end users
- Experience supporting federal government or other highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance frameworks, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening best practices
- Experience implementing and managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) within enterprise Windows environments
- B.A. or B.S. degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Superb oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Google Suite)
- Experience with multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced and fast‑growing company
- Ability to think strategically, analytically, and proactively about diverse business solutions
Most M2 positions are hybrid roles, which will require working both at clients’ work locations and teleworking.
Physical Qualification(s) Required- Work is performed in an office environment
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Responsible for adhering to all established safety standards
