Job Description
ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL is required. Do you like to tackle complex software challenges? If you love spearheading customer technical outreach, architecting multi-domain cloud infrastructures, and shaping complex data threat tracking frameworks, you’re in the right place! We are looking for a Principal Systems Engineer who shares our drive to push boundaries and build secure, data-driven applications that make a real difference.
In this role, you will lead systems engineering efforts for critical data collection and cyber threat analysis missions. You will bridge the gap between engineering teams and mission stakeholders, engineer advanced cloud-based architectures (AWS/Azure), and design data thread workflows across multi-domain (TS, S, U) fabrics to protect our nation's networks.

The annual base salary range is $197,000 - $252,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Active Fully-Cleared with Poly. - Mission Outreach & Engagement:
Strong customer outreach and product marketing skills to collaborate, gather needs, and interface with high-level mission and capabilities partners. - Data Policy & Compliance:
In-depth experience handling data sharing policies and authorization frameworks for both internal customer structures and external partnerships. - Data Thread Engineering:
Proven background executing complex data thread engineering, including cross-domain/multi-domain (TS, S, U) threading structures. - System Architecture Documentation:
Deep experience creating comprehensive system architecture layouts and design planning documentation. - Cloud Frameworks:
Strong knowledge of Cloud Service Provider infrastructure offerings, specifically AWS and Azure, alongside general cloud computing and big data analytics paradigms. - Agile Tools & Workflows:
Expert capabilities in capturing and managing artifacts with Jira and Confluence within an active Agile development environment.
- Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university. - Substitution:
Four (4) years of additional systems engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree (totaling 14 years of experience).
- Experience leading technical requirements derivation and execution across multi-disciplined engineering teams.
- Familiarity with cloud automation, Dev Ops provisioning pipelines, or large-scale data ingestion patterns.
- Knowledge of modern automated document tools or automated architectural modeling systems.
