About the Opportunity
The Cloud Computing Specialist IV – Fin Ops plays a key role in helping an organization manage cloud investments strategically through accurate financial visibility, strong cost governance, and continuous optimization across a multi-cloud environment, in a remote and on-site work environment. This position combines Cloudability administration, cloud billing analysis, tagging and allocation governance, and financial reporting with direct collaboration across teams to identify inefficiencies and improve cloud consumption.
Success in this role means turning complex cloud cost data into clear, actionable insights that support accurate forecasting and budgeting, reduce unnecessary spend, strengthen accountability, and ensure cloud resources are aligned with business priorities and delivering measurable value.
Requirements What You Will Do in This RoleThe Cloud Computing Specialist IV – Cloud Fin Ops will drive cloud financial management by administering Cloudability, analyzing multi-cloud costs, strengthening governance, and identifying optimization opportunities that improve financial visibility, reduce waste, and maximize the value of cloud investments.
Responsibilities include:- Administer, configure, and continuously enhance the Cloudability platform to support accurate multi-cloud cost visibility, including billing data ingestion, normalization, cost structures, and allocation models.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and financial analyses that support cloud forecasting, budgeting, showback/chargeback, and executive decision-making.
- Establish and maintain enterprise tagging taxonomies, cost allocation standards, and governance practices to ensure cloud costs are consistently and accurately attributed.
- Analyze cloud consumption across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI to identify idle resources, waste, inefficiencies, and cost-optimization opportunities.
- Translate complex cloud cost and usage data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that improve financial accountability and resource utilization.
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to validate cost attribution, understand consumption patterns, and integrate cloud financial data into broader financial planning and analysis.
- Support forecasting and budgeting activities by analyzing historical spending, usage trends, and anticipated cloud consumption to improve financial planning and predictability.
- Monitor cloud financial data and reporting processes to identify discrepancies, data quality issues, and allocation gaps, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Contribute to Fin Ops working groups and enterprise cloud financial governance initiatives, helping establish scalable processes, standards, and best practices.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve cloud financial management, reduce unnecessary spending, and ensure cloud investments deliver measurable business value.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Fin Ops or cloud financial management experience in multi-cloud environments.
- Direct experience administering and managing Apptio/IBM Cloudability, including platform configuration, data ingestion, normalization, cost structures, and allocation models.
- Experience ingesting, normalizing, and analyzing cloud service provider (CSP) and reseller billing and usage data.
- Demonstrated experience developing cloud financial models, cost models, dashboards, reports, and forecasting analyses to support budgeting and financial planning.
