We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law - Litigation Paralegal to join our client's team in Maryland (remotely). Our client is a well-established family law firm that is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to their clients. As a Family Law - Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys in all aspects of family law litigation, including preparing legal documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research.

• Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage case files, including organizing and maintaining documents, correspondence, and evidence.
• Conduct legal research using various resources, such as Lexis Nexis and Westlaw, to support attorneys in case preparation.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and other parties involved in the case to gather information and provide updates.
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, scheduling witnesses, and coordinating with experts.
• Attend court hearings and trials with attorneys and take notes.
• Prepare and maintain billing records and assist with managing client accounts.
• Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations related to family law and inform attorneys of any updates.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Law - Litigation Paralegal.
• Strong understanding of family law and litigation procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research and using legal databases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal software.
• Familiarity with Maryland court rules and procedures is a plus.
