Multi Site EHS Manager III

Our Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team drives safety and efficiency, and we’re seeking a dynamic WHS Manager to lead a comprehensive safety program that touches thousands of lives. You'll work at the intersection of operations and safety to shape the future of workplace health and deliver real-time solutions that protect our people.

• Lead the Global WHS Program with precision and passion, partnering with Operations leadership to weave safety into daily operations.
• Use data-driven insights to create innovative solutions that reduce risk and enhance productivity.
• Build trust, influence change, and drive results through comprehensive risk assessments and transforming safety data into actionable strategies.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of WHS professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Oversee incident management and investigations, conduct business reviews and leadership meetings, manage staff development and training, monitor safety assessments and compliance, oversee emergency preparedness, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Drive regular site inspections, performance monitoring, and implementation of safety initiatives to ensure safety oversight and compliance.
• Support sites and WHS staff across North American regions to drive safety excellence and compliance across the network.

This position requires the flexibility to travel 50-70% of the time and work various shifts.

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management
• Distribution Center or Manufacturing WHS experience with a mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people
• Master’s degree
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
• Certified Safety Professional
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders
• Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability
• Ability to manage multiple sites remotely
• First Aid, CPR, AED certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) or obtain within 3 weeks of start date

• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures, including outside loading areas
• Continuously climb and descend stairs (where applicable)
• Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site
