Executive Program Director

Location: Mid
- Atlantic region/Virginia/DC - Maryland.

Rockwoods is actively looking for a Project Manager to own executive relationships, drive account growth, and lead delivery across multiple concurrent programs primarily within Credit Union & Financial Services clients.

• Build C-suite relationships; act as a strategic advisor and lead executive steering committees and business reviews.
• Grow accounts through new SOWs, renewals, and expansion opportunities, partnering with sales and delivery teams.
• Oversee multiple projects/programs, leading Project and Program Managers to ensure quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Own engagement financials budget, P&L, utilization, and margin and report on project health.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks; manage executive escalations professionally.
• Lead engagements using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting to regulatory/compliance needs.

• 10+ years in a Client Partner, Engagement Manager, Program Director, or similar leadership role.
• Proven executive-level client relationship management, ideally within Credit Unions, Banking, or other regulated industries.
• Experience overseeing multiple simultaneous programs and delivery teams.
• Strong financial management skills (budgeting, forecasting, utilization, P&L).
• Track record of growing client accounts and expanding engagements.
• Skilled in executive communication, governance, and risk/escalation management.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery.
