Position Summary:

The Production Clerk will assist with administrative support (data entry/analysis) required to accurately monitor production efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify and help maintain packaging and raw inventory, i.e, casing, film inserts, seasoning (does not include WIP product).Set up the start of the shift paperwork.

Take daily attendance in the production areas.

Complete the Daily headcount report for all Departments (CBC and OW).Print out meat schedules for material handlers.

Downtime data entry.

Perform Perfect Package paperwork verification.

Rework vat data entry and verification.

Enter rework into Knowledge Mine.

Perform Line Yield’s shift high rework 8%.Assist in distributing HR paperwork as needed to associates and/or Supervisors.

Perform Ulti Pro Time and Attendance work. (Check employees' punches to ensure clock-in/OUT is accurate.

Change schedule for line packers if needed (overtime) in Time and Attendance.

Prepare new hires (company and temporary employees) ready for production and show them how to clock in/out.

Complete the CBC weekly labor report for management/HR.Data entry/make copies of timesheets for temporary employees.

Work with the Supervisor to verify/correct week-ending temporary timesheets.

Transfer week-ending temporary hours to the computer and send an email to HR.Inventory for WIP pkg/Aldi partial pallets.

Execute pallet and WIP transactions in the computer system.

Education & Experience:

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Minimum of 1-year production clerk or data entry experience.

High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

Working Conditions &

Qualifications:

Must be able to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less.

Must have Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Must be able to lift, slide, push, pull, grab, turn, reach, bend, stand, and walk.

General PPE- bump cap, hairnets, and earplugs.

Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)Must be able to perform the majority of the work on a computer.

Must be able to conduct work inside the plant (production area).Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week.

Must have good hand/eye coordination.

Must be highly attentive to detail (i.e., meat type/film/date).Must be able to multitask and prioritize assignments.

Must have good organizations skills.

Ability to legally work in the United States is required.

High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required

Pay range for this position is $21.00 to $23.00 depending on experience.
