Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking Manufacturing Test Technicians to join their team. As a Test Technician you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the assembly, testing, and performance optimization of sophisticated medical instruments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Glencoe, MD Pay Range: $25/hour

Shift: 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday What's the Job?
  • Perform production assembly operations and complete system analysis, testing, and performance optimization of medical instruments.
  • Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to identify issues with test equipment.
  • Analyze test results to determine pass/fail status and provide solutions for failed tests.
  • Identify defects and recommend design or process improvements to enhance product quality.
  • Work collaboratively with manufacturing engineering, quality, planning, and purchasing teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
What's Needed?
  • AA degree in mechatronics or a relevant field with zero years of experience, or three years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards.
  • Proficiency in mechanical tools such as torque drivers, gauges, and bits.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work in person at the Sparks Glencoe location (not near public transit).
