Part-Time - Seasonal Vendor Market Coordinator

The Town is seeking a part-time Seasonal Vendor Market Coordinator to manage and oversee its bi‑monthly Vendor Market from July through October (approximately 13 weeks). This position averages 10–15 hours per week, requires Saturday availability during market days, and pays $20–$25 per hour.

The Coordinator will be responsible for the overall success of the market by:

• Managing day‑to‑day market operations, including setup, breakdown, vendor check‑in, booth assignments, and ensuring compliance with market rules.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for vendors by recruiting, onboarding, processing applications and payments, maintaining records, and building long‑term vendor relationships.
• Coordinating marketing and community outreach through bilingual (English/Spanish) promotional materials, social media, newsletters, and special market events.
• Organizing entertainment, demonstrations, and community programming within budget.
• Preparing post‑market reports summarizing attendance, vendor participation, revenue, programming, photos, and any issues after each market.

The ideal candidate is organized, self‑motivated, customer‑focused, and experienced in event coordination, vendor management, marketing, and community engagement. Bilingual English/Spanish skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and social media, and the ability to work outdoors are preferred.
