SEO & AI Search Content Writer – Commercial Insurance Job Silver Spring area,Maryland USA,Marketing / Advertising / PR

Create and deliver high-quality strategic copy for GEICO’s Commercial Insurance business, including landing pages, blog posts, and long-form SEO articles
Use AI-powered tools to streamline content creation, generate ideas, and optimize outputs while maintaining GEICO’s brand voice
Develop content using traditional SEO, GEO, and AEO strategies
Optimize content for voice search, answer engines, and modern search intent
Track, analyze, and report on Commercial Insurance SEO content performance
Review and refine AI-generated content for tone, consistency, effectiveness, brand, quality, SEO, GEO, and AEO standards
Monitor Google algorithm updates, AI advancements, and commercial insurance SEO trends
Improve content workflows by refining AI prompts, developing reusable frameworks, and establishing structured processes
Ensure content follows GEICO brand guidelines, voice, and messaging standards
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, designers, marketers, SEO specialists, and cross-functional teams on content planning and execution
Test content ideas, gather insights, and implement scalable solutions to drive business growth
Coordinate online article and digital content creation and publication
Manage workflows, upload content to the internal CMS when needed, and ensure timely delivery
Report to the Director of Marketing Strategy, SEO

Requirements

4–6 years of professional copywriting experience
Strong portfolio showcasing diverse work across digital formats
Proven experience creating SEO-driven content, including keyword optimization and on-page SEO
Solid understanding of search intent, topical depth, and structured formatting
Strong understanding of GEO and AEO strategies
Experience optimizing content for LLMs and answer engine algorithms
Demonstrated experience using AI-powered tools for content creation workflows, ideation, and optimization
Ability to translate marketing briefs and strategic concepts into clear, engaging content
Experience tracking and analyzing content performance metrics
Ability to derive actionable insights and refine content strategies
Ability to collaborate with designers, marketers, and SEO specialists
Understanding of Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and the Commercial Insurance SEO ecosystem
Exceptional proofreading and editing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Proactive mindset and adaptability to industry trends, AI advancements, and evolving SEO/GEO/AEO practices
