Launch new marketing capabilities end-to-end, from pilot through scaled, steady-state operation
Build teams, workflows, and tools for new capabilities
Lead in-housing of externally operated capabilities
Diagnose and re-architect fragile or underperforming capabilities across talent, process, technology, and operating model
Manage third-party consultants and embedded partners
Elevate existing GEICO marketing capabilities
Own the agency and partner operating model
Build and maintain agency scorecards, KPIs, performance thresholds, and scoring methodology
Own Quarterly Business Review processes for major agency relationships
Partner with Supply Management on market scans, RFI/RFP strategy, vendor evaluation, negotiations, renewals, and contracts
Lead RFI/RFP processes and onboarding for new agencies and specialized partners
Resolve performance issues through corrective action plans and drive continuous improvement and cost savings
Integrate agencies, consultants, and internal capability owners
Partner with Marketing Technology and AI leaders to embed AI, automation, and advanced analytics
Champion AI and modern tools based on business value, usability, and scalability
Monitor AI and marketing technology trends and translate them into capability improvements

Requirements

10+ years of experience building, launching, or scaling marketing capabilities inside agencies, incubators, or in-house teams
Track record of personally developed capabilities
Deep, established relationships across agency and partner networks
Experience on both sides of the agency-client relationship
Direct experience in modern, fast-evolving marketing disciplines at the edge of content, culture, and audience
Experience managing agency and partner performance, including scorecards, QBRs, and governance
Experience partnering with procurement or supply management on sourcing, RFI/RFP, and vendor negotiation
Ability to combine strategic vision with executional rigor
Comfortable using AI and marketing technology
Continuous-learning mindset
