The International Rescue Committee seeks an intern in Silver Spring, Maryland, for the Spring semester. This unpaid position requires a commitment of at least 24 hours per week to assist refugees during their resettlement period.
Intern responsibilities include setting up homes, supporting clients with applications for benefits, and building community resources. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must, with preference for candidates fluent in Dari, Haitian Creole, Pashto, or Spanish.
