About This Role
Adventist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for their Intensive Care Unit. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about providing high‑quality patient care and mentoring others in a supportive environment.

Silver Spring, MD - Facility:
White Oak Medical Center - Schedule:
Full‑time, Day shift (36 hours/week, three 12‑hour shifts)
- Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
- Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
- Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
- Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non‑nursing duties appropriately.
- Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
- Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
- Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient‑centered care.
- Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
- Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in change of practice based on evidence.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current Maryland State nursing license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
