Adventist Health Care is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for their Home Health division in Silver Spring. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are passionate about providing compassionate care in a home setting.

What You’ll Do
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care in the home.
  • Document patient care and outcomes electronically.
  • Delegate and supervise tasks of Home Health Aides and LPNs.
  • Support new staff or students.
  • Participate in quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team in patient care planning.
  • Pursue professional development and growth.
  • Meet agency standards demonstrating flexibility, commitment, and adaptability.
Requirements

Education

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience

  • 2 years full-time experience in acute care
  • 2 years full-time experience in Medical/Surgical or facility nursing within the past 5 years

Licenses & Certifications

  • Current Maryland State nursing license
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Valid Driver’s License with agency insurance requirements
