White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The successful candidate will help extend God’s care by providing physical, mental, and spiritual healing to patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Educate patients and families throughout the continuum of care, and advance their knowledge and skills through guidance from senior nurses and the Clinical Nurse Manager.
- Serve as a role model for Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best patient‑care practices.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify Adventist Health Care values.
- Use equipment and technology correctly, delegate non‑nursing duties appropriately, and maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop a plan of care tailored to each patient population.
- Identify impending changes in patient condition accurately and initiate corrective action.
- Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient‑centered care.
- Conduct purposeful rounding from the patient and family perspective.
- Perform efficient literature searches and apply findings appropriately to practice.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in evidence‑based changes of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Passing score on NCLEX.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
- Current Maryland State nursing license.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications required by specialty area.

Full‑time. - Hours per week: 40 hours (three 12‑hour shifts).

$37.00 – $55.00 per hour.
