Position: Registered Nurse (RN), Night Shift, Labor and Delivery

Adventist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor and Delivery unit, ideal for those who are passionate about providing compassionate care and mentoring others in a faith‑based environment.

Highlights
  • Pay: $37.00 - $55.00/hour
  • Location: Silver Spring, MD
  • Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week
What You’ll Do
  • Educate patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
  • Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
  • Use equipment and technology correctly to maximize efficiency.
  • Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
  • Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
  • Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
  • Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspectives.
Requirements Education
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Licenses & Certifications
  • Current Maryland State nursing license
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
