About This Role

Adventist Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor & Delivery Unit who will provide compassionate care while advancing their own skills and knowledge.

• Pay: $37.00 - $55.00 / hour
• Location: Silver Spring, MD
• Schedule: Variable Part Time Night Shift

• Educate patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Use equipment and technology correctly to maximize efficiency.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspectives.

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current Maryland State nursing license
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
