Position Purpose
Holy Cross Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor – Maternity Suites to serve as a clinical leader in our Maternity Suites unit. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating patient care at the unit level, ensuring high-quality care, staff development, and operational efficiency. This role supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health by fostering service excellence in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What You Will Do- Lead and supervise clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring high standards of patient care
- Make cost-effective operational decisions related to staffing, supplies, and resource utilization
- Manage staff assignments and schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Facilitate staff orientation, training, and ongoing development
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and participate in staff evaluations
- Support the development and implementation of patient care standards, quality initiatives, and safety plans
- Serve as a professional role model and resource for clinical and operational guidance
- Current Maryland RN license required
- BLS certification required; additional life support certifications based on unit needs
- Specialty certification (department-specific) required within six months of hire
- BSN required;
Master’s preferred - Minimum 3 years of acute care experience in maternity or a related specialty
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English

$39.04 - $58.56. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
