Position Overview

ADON Assistant Director of Nursing. Approx. annual salary: $119,999 (based on experience). Full-time day shift. On-call rotation required.

Long‑term care leadership experience required. RN registered nursing license required.

We provide skilled nursing care to people recently discharged from the hospital, needing therapy, and to those needing long‑term care.

• Care Needs & Planning:
  Participate in care planning and ensure direct-care providers follow established care plans; supplement hands‑on care needs.
• Clinical Operations & Quality Assurance:
  Provide clinical documentation and care audits; attend QA and interdisciplinary team meetings; conduct rounds to evaluate resident status and care provision.
• Regulatory Compliance & Surveys:
  Ensure compliance with federal, state, county, and company health/safety regulations; assist with survey preparedness and manage the facility during inspections.
• Staff Management & Development:
  Assist in interviewing and onboarding staff; manage schedules and assignments; evaluate competency/performance; lead in‑service needs and stay up‑to‑date on clinical best practice/facility protocols.
• Administration & Leadership:
  Assume duties and authority of Director of Nursing in their absence; work alongside interdisciplinary team to foster seamless care; investigate and address complaints or grievances filed by staff, residents, or families.

• Licensed to work within the state of Maryland as RN Registered Nurse.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check, and physical evaluation.
• Extensive clinical experience.
• Extensive long‑term care experience serving in clinical leadership roles.
• Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and county regulatory compliance.
