Clinical Nurse – Labor and Delivery

As a Clinical Nurse in Labor and Delivery, you’ll deliver expert, compassionate care while working in a collaborative environment with access to the latest medical technology and a supportive team that includes anesthesiologists, physicians, a Level III NICU, and 24‑hour Patient Safety Nurses.

What You Will Do- Provide patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.
- Monitor fetal heart tones, administer medications, and coach patients through labor.
- Anticipate and respond to complications using critical thinking and clinical protocols.
- Assist and circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections and other OB/GYN procedures.
- Document care and patient progress using EPIC.
- Collaborate with 24‑hour Patient Safety Nurses, NICU teams, and physicians during high-risk deliveries and obstetric emergencies.
- 1–2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ASN required, BSN or MSN preferred.
- Current Maryland RN license or compact state equivalent.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional life support certifications as required by unit.
- Practice with a high level of autonomy while supported by a collaborative care team.
- Gain experience in high-risk deliveries and surgical OB care.
- Work in a dynamic unit with advanced resources, including a Level III NICU.

$38.92 – $55.68 per hour. Bonus available for nurses with 2 years as an RN. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
