White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Heart and Vascular Unit, supporting our mission of comprehensive care and healing.
Responsibilities- Educate patients and families throughout the continuum of care, integrating feedback and guidance from senior nurses and the Clinical Nurse Manager.
- Serve as a role model to Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices in patient care.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify Adventist Health Care values while fulfilling our nursing mission.
- Employ equipment and technology correctly, delegate non‑nursing duties appropriately, and maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop a plan of care tailored to the patient population.
- Identify impending changes in patient condition accurately and initiate corrective action.
- Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient‑centered care.
- Conduct purposeful rounding from the patient and family perspective.
- Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in evidence‑based practice changes.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Passing score on the NCLEX.
- Minimum one year of RN experience required (one year of acute care experience preferred).
- Current Maryland State nursing license.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as required by specialty area.

Pay Range: $37.00 – $55.00 per hour.
