Position: Registered Nurse (RN), Weekend Day Shift (EWCO), Home Health - Silver Spring

Position

Adventist Health Care Home Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Silver Spring Territory.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise field staff Home Health Aid/LPN staff
  • Regularly attend mandatory and non‑mandatory meetings
  • Document patient care and related information per Federal and State regulations, completed to Agency standards
  • Plan and evaluate patient care that is comprehensive and organized to achieve goals
  • Meet agency standards demonstrating flexibility, commitment, and adaptability
  • Appropriately assess all factors that impact patients and patients’ conditions
  • Make appropriate interventions to provide safe and effective care addressing all patients’ needs
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in nursing required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • At least 2 years of full‑time experience in Medical/Surgical or facility nursing within the past 5 years
  • Valid Maryland RN licensure
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Valid Driver’s License; agency insurance requirements met
Sign‑On Bonus

Qualified candidates will be eligible for up to a $7,500 sign‑on bonus. Current AHC employees are not eligible for the bonus.

  • Typical daily schedule: 8:00AM–5:00PM (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday or Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

Pay Range

$34.58 - $51.87 per hour.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as United States of America (Non‑Exempt).
