Position PurposeAs a Registered Nurse (RN) on our 30-bed Med/Surg Oncology Unit, you’ll be part of a compassionate and dedicated team providing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, managing cancer‑related complications, recovering from surgery, or receiving hospice care. This unit also serves patients with general medical‑surgical needs. You’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care while guiding patients and families through complex and emotionally sensitive healthcare experiences.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without work visa or sponsorship.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to oncology, med/surg, and hospice patients.
- Administer medications, including chemotherapy (if certified), and monitor for side effects.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Offer emotional support and education to patients and families.
- Participate in discharge planning, pain management, and palliative care coordination.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with care team.
- Work in a diverse unit caring for oncology, medical‑surgical, and hospice patients.

- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred). Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain within a specific time frame.
- Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association).
- Superb interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities.
- Competency in electronic patient management systems.
- BSN or MSN preferred.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting. Willing to train new Graduate Nurses.

$38.92 - $55.68 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
