About This Role

Adventist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for their Cardiac Cath Lab. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient-centered care and are committed to improving clinical outcomes.

• Pay: $39.96 - $59.94
• Location: Silver Spring, MD
• Facility: White Oak Medical Center
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (7:00 AM-5:00 PM, four 10-hour shifts)

• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition accurately and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings appropriately to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in change of practice based on evidence.
• Create a work environment that promotes cooperation, respect, and trust among team members.
• Engage effectively in teamwork and team building processes.
• Participate in error analyses and system/process improvements.
• Use established safety resources for professional development and to help ensure safe practices.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• 1 to 3 years in acute care

• Current Maryland State nursing license
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
