About This Role

Adventist Health Care's Cardiac Associates is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for their Silver Spring, MD office. This part‑time role is ideal for a compassionate nurse dedicated to providing high‑quality patient care.

• Pay: $30.53 - $44.27
• Location: Silver Spring, MD
• Facility: Adventist Health Care
• Schedule: Part-Time, Day Shift

• Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and symptom evaluation
• Triage patient concerns (in-person and via phone/portal) and prioritize care needs
• Monitor patient condition and response to treatments
• Coordinate care plans with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Manage chronic disease patients (e.g., CVD, hypertension)
• Facilitate referrals, follow‑up appointments, and diagnostic testing
• Ensure continuity of care across the patient journey
• Respond to patient calls, messages, and electronic portal inquiries
• Assess urgency of patient concerns and escalates appropriately
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans

• Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)

• 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience (ambulatory, critical care, or acute care)

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
