Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Family Medicine team. You will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care, supporting the Practice Lead as she gradually decreases her schedule over the next 3-5 years, and ensuring seamless continuity of care for an established, highly regarded community practice, with the unique goal of transitioning into practice ownership/buy-in.
Scope of Practice:
- Patient Population: Ages 16+ serving an active-aging community; 20% Medicare, 2% self-pay.
- Comprehensive Primary Care: Acute, chronic, and preventative care, behavioral health, and non-procedural women's health (no paps/IUDs).
- Clinical Workflow: 20-minute follow-ups and 40-45 minutes for new patient evaluations.
- Clinical Procedures: Routine outpatient care with bi-weekly on-site ECHO support.
- Volume & Call: 17-18 patients/day; call managed entirely by Lead Physician (~1 call every 6 months).
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Open to both experienced NPs and motivated new graduates ready for partnership.
- Active, unrestricted NP license in Maryland.
- Proactive, "no task is too small" team mentality.
