White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Structural Heart Nurse Practitioner (NP) for our Cardiovascular Unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Structural Heart Nurse Practitioner, you will:- Revises, prescribes and implements therapeutic regimen using an interdisciplinary approach in collaboration with the Cardiologist and Interventional Radiologist
- Prepares patient's for surgical and/or interventional procedure to include History & Physicals and/or pre-procedure interval H&P.
- Monitors patient's progress.
- Collaborate with CVIR and Hospital Health Care team to manage and coordinate care.
- Facilitates patient discharge
- Leads and Identifies opportunities for practice changes and performance improvement through the integration of research/evidence based practice
- Serves as a Clinical Resource
- Masters of Nursing, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner
- 1-2 years of experience as nurse practitioner in an acute setting in a procedural area.
- Licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland
- Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner preferred or Adult Nurse Practitioner with 2 years of previous experience and medical staff approval
- Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance license
- DEA license
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification

$50.80 - $76.20
