NAN​/Resource Registered Nurse; RN), Night Shift, Labor & Delivery

Adventist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor & Delivery Unit. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about providing compassionate care and mentoring others in a dynamic healthcare environment.

• Pay: $37.00 - $55.00
• Location: Silver Spring, MD
• Facility: White Oak Medical Center
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift (6:45pm - 7:15am)

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Use equipment and technology correctly to maximize efficiency.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Previous experience as a NAN/Resource Nurse preferred.
• Current Maryland State nursing license.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ALCS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.
