This is more than an administrative role. As an Occupancy Specialist, you'll help ensure residents receive the housing opportunities they qualify for while maintaining compliance with affordable housing regulations and program requirements. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will contribute directly to the success of the community and the residents who call it home.

The compensation and benefits package for this position includes:

Responsibilities Help Ensure Compliance and Resident SuccessServe as a key resource for both residents and the community by ensuring compliance with all affordable housing regulations and program requirements. You'll review applications, determine eligibility, complete certifications and recertifications, maintain accurate resident files, and help ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Keep Records Accurate and OrganizedManage waitlists, resident files, income certifications, annual and interim recertifications, and required regulatory reporting. Your strong attention to detail will help ensure the community remains compliant while providing excellent service to residents and applicants.
Support Compliance ExcellenceConduct regular file reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and completeness. You'll work closely with site teams and residents to identify and resolve discrepancies, helping maintain compliance with federal, state, and local affordable housing requirements.
Be a Trusted ResourcePartner with residents, applicants, community staff, and regulatory agencies to provide guidance, answer questions, and ensure a smooth certification process. Your professionalism and customer service skills will help create a positive experience for everyone involved.
