What is the “Future Builders” program?

Lennar’s Future Builders Program is designed for highly motivated early career professionals seeking to launch their careers. Participants will develop essential interpersonal and technical skills while working alongside seasoned professionals in a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

Through structured onboarding, hands‑on training, and professional development, Future Builders will contribute to impactful projects and gain deep exposure to key areas across Lennar. High‑performing participants may have the opportunity to transition into our recent college graduate (RCG) program or other entry‑level roles after the summer.

The Land track is a 10 weeklong program during the summer that prepares participants for careers in core business operations. The start date for the program will be June 2027.

Program Locations

This program will run in multiple Lennar divisions across the U.S., giving you the opportunity to launch your career in a market where our communities are actively growing. Placement is based on business need, program fit, and your location preferences, and your assigned division will be confirmed prior to your start date.

Job Responsibilities:

Land Development Intern
  • Support residential land development projects by monitoring schedules, budgets, and permits.
  • Understanding milestones such as wet and dry utility progress, grading progress, municipal status, etc.
  • Assist with coordinating contractors, consultants, and field partners.
  • Participate in site visits and field inspections.
  • Review engineering plans, environmental studies, and permit documents.
  • Assist with budgets, project costs, and compliance documentation.
  • Develop an understanding of the full land development lifecycle.
  • Support the Land Acquisition team in researching potential land opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
  • Majoring in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular community and construction site visits.
  • Curious, proactive, and comfortable asking questions to learn and grow.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to engage in real business discussions.
  • Positive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
