The Server greets guests, takes and delivers food and beverage orders, and ensures a positive dining experience from arrival through payment. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer questions about items, preparation, and ingredients
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system
- Communicate dietary restrictions and allergy information to the kitchen
- Deliver orders in a timely manner and check back with guests throughout the meal
- Maintain clean, properly set tables and assist with side work (rolling silverware, stocking stations, restocking condiments)
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and card transactions
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Support teammates during peak periods and assist with opening/closing duties
