Commercial Service Electrician

Overview

Direct Electric Services is looking for a Full-Time Commercial Service Electrician to join our team. The position entails being responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial building settings. • Installation and Maintenance
  • Install, repair, and replace electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Ability to run small projects and crew (4 or less).
• Customer Interaction
  • Respond to service calls and customer requests.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and updates.
  • Provide estimates for materials and labor costs to Office for pricing.
  • Must maintain a positive reflection of the company and professionalism.
• Team Collaboration
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Direct and train apprentices and less experienced workers.
  • Collaborate with other trades and service teams to complete projects.

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to work full time (40 hours) Monday - Friday
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug test
• Experience in the commercial electrical field
• Familiarity with an array of electrical devices and systems
• Familiarity with commercial electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Licensed electrician with 3-7 years of relevant experience. Preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Certifications such as OSHA-10 and fall protection are preferred.
