As a Licensed Electrician with LB&B Associates, Inc., you'll provide essential expertise maintaining and repairing electrical systems that keep our facilities safe, efficient, and operational. What You'll Do

Roll up your sleeves and get ready for a dynamic, rewarding technical role! As a Licensed Electrician, your key responsibilities will include:

* Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, controls, and equipment across facility areas.

* Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to ensure proper installation and compliance with codes.

* Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance for electrical panels, lighting, generators, and safety systems.

* Identify electrical hazards, recommend improvements, and take corrective action to ensure safety and code compliance.

* Coordinate with facility managers and contractors to plan electrical upgrades, renovations, and new installations.

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, material usage, and compliance checks.

* Respond promptly to urgent electrical issues or emergencies, providing quick assessment and resolution.

* Support sustainability efforts by recommending and implementing energy-efficient solutions and practices.

* Order and manage inventory of electrical supplies and tools, ensuring proper usage and secure storage.

* Mentor junior staff, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement.

* Promote effective communication among team members, clients, and facility stakeholders.

* Adhere to all safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements at all times.

What We're Looking For

Are you a specialist who brings technical expertise, a spirit of safety, and a drive for excellence? We're seeking candidates with:

* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program preferred.

* Current State of Maryland Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required).

* Minimum of 6 years' experience as a licensed electrician in commercial, industrial, or institutional settings.

* Proficiency in reading blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.

* Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), state, and local regulations.

* Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

* Physical stamina and ability to assist with hands-on tasks and work in challenging environments.

* Excellent organizational, time management, and documentation skills.
